This is why we offer a 10-year warranty on all frames and steel springs and a 2-year warranty on all other components, including upholstery.
Our warranty applies in accordance with the terms specified in these warranty terms and conditions. This warranty is an additional service we offer, supplementing your statutory consumer rights under applicable sale of goods legislation.
The warranty covers material and workmanship defects on designs from our entire collection and ensures that any covered damage is repaired or the product is replaced within the warranty period.
The warranty is valid for 10 years on the frame and steel springs, and a 2-year warranty on all other components, including upholstery, from the date the product is purchased at a Furninova AB retailer store. The warranty only applies to products purchased in their original packaging and does not cover showroom or exhibition models. The warranty can be claimed at the place of your original purchase. To make a claim, you must be able to document where and when the product was purchased or delivered by presenting a receipt with the associated warranty conditions. The ID label located under the furniture must remain attached and must be presented when making a claim to ensure fast and accurate processing. To be covered by the warranty, any product defect or issue must be reported to Furninova AB by the Furninova retailer of original purchase, within a reasonable time after the defect is first discovered. End consumers are requested to direct all enquiries and claims to their original point of purchase.
General wear and tear, cut marks, scratches, or other damage caused by improper use, accidents, impacts, or external damage, as well as discolouration caused by improper use or handling.
Damage and discoloration caused by lack of or incorrect care/maintenance in accordance with Furninova’s care instructions.
Products that have been stored, assembled, or used incorrectly, misused, or altered, as well as products that have been exposed to large temperature changes, placed in direct sunlight, or used in an environment for which the product is not suitable, e.g., outdoors, commercial environments or in a bathroom.
A new warranty is not offered on a replacement product where the warranty has already been used. A replacement item will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. If the furniture is sold or passed on to a new owner, the warranty ends.
When you report a defect, Furninova AB will investigate and determine whether it is covered by the warranty. Furninova AB will then decide whether the damage can be repaired or if the product should be replaced. Furninova AB will cover the costs of repairs or replacement of the affected part or parts.
If the product has been discontinued, Furninova AB will evaluate and decide on a suitable replacement. If the defect can be remedied, it will be carried out by Furninova AB or a partner authorised by Furninova AB, using the necessary methods. This will resolve the defect without any further entitlement to price reduction or other compensation.
