In addition to our Sofa Talks interviews, we have launched Sofa Talks Mini, shorter relaxed interview sessions with individuals within the Furninova family. Find out who we are behind the scenes. Enjoy!
I was born in 1982. I live with my two kids, my partner, and two bonus children in Hässleholm. Throughout my life, I have been interested in animals, mainly dogs, with whom I’ve competed in various competitions. Hunting has also been a part of their training.
I started at Furninova back in 2002 in the Customer Service department, working with our export markets. Following that, I moved on to the IT and purchasing departments.
Nowadays, I work as a purchaser of fabrics. I’m also involved in preparing upcoming fabric collections, securing deliveries and ensuring we have a reasonable amount of material in stock.
Both, I think. When I feel confident about a topic, I can speak up, sometimes almost too much. But sometimes, I follow the saying, ”When you talk, you only repeat what you already know. But if you listen, you may learn something new.” Being in different departments has given me that perspective. When you learn new skills, it’s a good idea to listen to the ones who have them.
I’m excellent at making Swedish ugnspannkaka! (Swedish oven pancake). Ugnspannkaka is a thick Swedish pancake baked in the oven. It’s a Swedish classic usually served with fried pork or bacon and lingonberry jam.
Our armchair Egon, based on the overall rounded shapes and pointy edges.
The ability to boost other people’s confidence and self-esteem would have been awesome. In terms of superpowers, teleportation would be the coolest. I could have travelled to exciting places around the world without wasting much time travelling.
