Could you tell me about yourself and briefly describe your background?

My name is Simon Philipsson. I was born in Vinslöv in 1982. Nowadays, I live in Bjärnum with my partner and two kids. At first, I studied political science in Gothenburg and then economics in Växjö.

What are the responsibilities of your position?

I’m responsible for the finance department. In addition, I work with internal and external accounting. Most passionate about controlling and monitoring the efficiency of our different markets.

What is your lifelong dream?

To drive across the US by car. Get to know the country in a way that isn’t shown in the movies.

What do you do in your spare time?

I am hanging out with the family as much as I can. However, when it comes to spare time activities, I enjoy playing golf and watching sports. Malmö FF is my team. I also try to go skiing, but unfortunately, this part of Sweden is relatively flat, so we try to go to Austria or northern Sweden every winter.

If your life was a movie, which song would be the main theme?

Where is my mind with Pixies. Over the past 25-30 years, this song has been one of my favourites. There is a great deal of cinematic quality to this song.

Why is there fuzz on a tennis ball?

It has to do with aerodynamics and friction. The fuzz slows the ball down.
